Historically, female to male tertiary enrollment rate in Ghana reached an all time high of 90.3% in 2020 and an all time low of 16.6% in 1972. When compared to Ghana's main peers, female to male tertiary enrollment rate in Benin amounted to 51.4%, 78.3% in Ivory Coast and 56.1% in Togo in 2020.
