Historically, fixed broadband internet penetration based on subscribers as a percentage of population in Tanzania reached an all time high of 1.95% in 2021 and an all time low of 0.007% in 2005. When compared to Tanzania's main peers, fixed broadband internet penetration based on subscribers as a percentage of population in Kenya amounted to 1.49%, 0.204% in Mozambique, 0.084% in Uganda and 0.414% in Zambia in 2021.
