Historically, foreign debt in Chad reached an all time high of USD 3,724 bil in 2014 and an all time low of USD 35.2 bil in 1970. When compared to Chad's main peers, foreign debt in Cameroon amounted to USD 12,815 bil, USD 3,606 bil in Niger, USD 54,832 bil in Nigeria and USD 22,264 bil in Sudan in 2019.
