Historically, foreign direct investments as a share of GDP in Thailand reached an all time high of 0.064% in 1998 and an all time low of -0.010% in 2020. When compared to Thailand's main peers, foreign direct investments as a share of GDP in Cambodia amounted to 0.140%, 0.051% in Laos, 0.012% in Malaysia and 0.024% in Myanmar in 2020.
