Historically, foreign direct investments as a share of GDP in Nepal reached an all time high of 0.007% in 2017 and an all time low of < -0.001% in 2002. When compared to Nepal's main peers, foreign direct investments as a share of GDP in Bangladesh amounted to 0.004%, -0.001% in Bhutan, 0.017% in China and 0.024% in India in 2020.
