Historically, foreign exchange reserves excluding gold in Nepal reached an all time high of USD 11.1 bil in 2020 and an all time low of USD 0.017 bil in 1960. When compared to Nepal's main peers, foreign exchange reserves excluding gold in Bangladesh amounted to USD 45.3 bil, USD 1.01 bil in Bhutan, USD 3,314 bil in China and USD 594 bil in India in 2021.
