Foreign exchange reserves, including gold in terms of months of imports rose 31.1% to 7.35 months in Mauritius in 2020, according to the National Statistical Office.

Historically, foreign exchange reserves, including gold in terms of months of imports in Mauritius reached an all time high of 7.35 months in 2020 and an all time low of 0.695 months in 1983. When compared to Mauritius's main peers, foreign exchange reserves, including gold in terms of months of imports in Comoros amounted to 10.2 months, 5.73 months in Madagascar, 4.27 months in Maldives and 4.76 months in Seychelles in 2020.
