Historically, geothermal, biomass and other consumption in Slovakia reached an all time high of 1,680 GWh in 2016 and an all time low of 2.11 GWh in 1993. When compared to Slovakia's main peers, geothermal, biomass and other consumption in Austria amounted to 4,593 GWh, 4,754 GWh in Czech Republic, 2,570 GWh in Hungary and 7,817 GWh in Poland in 2016.
