Historically, grape production in Japan reached an all time high of 352 kt in 1979 and an all time low of 163 kt in 2022. When compared to Japan's main peers, grape production in China amounted to 12,600 kt, 890 kt in Russia, 155 kt in South Korea and 5,373 kt in USA in 2022.
