Historically, grape production in Hungary reached an all time high of 1,047 kt in 1982 and an all time low of 295 kt in 2010. When compared to Hungary's main peers, grape production in Austria amounted to 337 kt, 91.8 kt in Czechia, 5.20 kt in Poland and 44.8 kt in Slovakia in 2022.
