Historically, grape production in Bulgaria reached an all time high of 1,336 kt in 1968 and an all time low of 133 kt in 2014. When compared to Bulgaria's main peers, grape production in Greece amounted to 816 kt, 805 kt in Romania, 162 kt in Serbia and 4,165 kt in Turkey in 2022.
