Historically, grape production in Iraq reached an all time high of 460 kt in 1984 and an all time low of 45.0 kt in 1961. When compared to Iraq's main peers, grape production in Iran amounted to 1,418 kt, 0.205 kt in Kuwait, 111 kt in Saudi Arabia and 229 kt in Syria in 2022.
