Historically, gross natural gas production in Tajikistan reached an all time high of 3.53 bil cb ft in 1992 and an all time low of 0.424 bil cb ft in 2015. When compared to Tajikistan's main peers, gross natural gas production in Afghanistan amounted to 5.64 bil cb ft, 4,360 bil cb ft in China, 1.20 bil cb ft in Kyrgyzstan and 2,180 bil cb ft in Uzbekistan in 2015.
