Based on a comparison of 134 countries in 2019, Nepal ranked the highest in primary completion rate of males as a percentage of total relevant group with 118% followed by Philippines and Bangladesh. On the other end of the scale was Chad with 47.4%, Uganda with 51.5% and Mali with 52.0%.

Average primary completion rate of males as a percentage of total relevant group reached 89.9% in 2019 in the World according to World Bank. This is 0.276 % less than in the previous year and 0.055 % more than 10 years ago.
