Czech banks pay its employees approximately USD 2,600 per month on average, roughly twice as much when compared to the average wage in the economy. Unsurprisingly, smaller and specialised banks pay more than larger retail banks.

In terms of average staff cost, PPF Banka, an investment arm of the PPF Group paid over USD 6,000 per employee a month at the end of September 2013, twice as much as GE Money Bank or Komercni Banka, for example.
