Historically, BCG immunisation as a percentage of one-year-old children in Costa Rica reached an all time high of 99.0% in 2020 and an all time low of 79.0% in 1986. When compared to Costa Rica's main peers, BCG immunisation as a percentage of one-year-old children in Guatemala amounted to 84.0%, 82.0% in Honduras, 86.0% in Nicaragua and 99.0% in Panama in 2021.
