Historically, infant mortality per 1,000 live births in Cambodia reached an all time high of 179 in 1975 and an all time low of 22.9 in 2019. When compared to Cambodia's main peers, infant mortality per 1,000 live births in China amounted to 5.90, 36.5 in Laos, 7.70 in Thailand and 16.9 in Vietnam in 2019.
