Historically, expenditure of international tourism in Ghana reached an all time high of USD 1,571 mil in 2016 and an all time low of USD 59.0 mil in 1996. When compared to Ghana's main peers, expenditure of international tourism in Benin amounted to USD 87.0 mil, USD 491 mil in Ivory Coast and USD 55.0 mil in Togo in 2016.
