Historically, jet fuel consumption as a share of worldwide consumption in Japan reached an all time high of 6.26% in 2015 and an all time low of 2.83% in 1983. When compared to Japan's main peers, jet fuel consumption as a share of worldwide consumption in China amounted to 15.4%, 6.86% in Russia, 3.37% in South Korea and 41.7% in USA in 2015.
