Historically, mobile cellular subscriptions in Ghana reached an all time high of 38.3 mil in 2016 and an all time low of < 0.001 mil in 1992. When compared to Ghana's main peers, mobile cellular subscriptions in Benin amounted to 8.77 mil, 31.7 mil in Ivory Coast and 6.07 mil in Togo in 2017.
Ghana has been ranked 38th within the group of 177 countries we follow in terms of mobile cellular subscriptions, 24 places above the position seen 10 years ago.
