Historically, mobile cellular subscriptions in Kuwait reached an all time high of 7.66 mil in 2015 and an all time low of 0.008 mil in 1986. When compared to Kuwait's main peers, mobile cellular subscriptions in Bahrain amounted to 1.90 mil, 37.2 mil in Iraq, 118 mil in Iran and 41.3 mil in Saudi Arabia in 2019.
Kuwait has been ranked 103rd within the group of 178 countries we follow in terms of mobile cellular subscriptions, 12 places above the position seen 10 years ago.
