Historically, mobile cellular subscriptions in Malaysia reached an all time high of 44.9 mil in 2014 and an all time low of 0.011 mil in 1986. When compared to Malaysia's main peers, mobile cellular subscriptions in Cambodia amounted to 21.4 mil, 9.03 mil in Singapore, 130 mil in Thailand and 136 mil in Vietnam in 2019.
