Historically, neonatal mortality per 1,000 live births in Mexico reached an all time high of 52.1 in 1960 and an all time low of 8.30 in 2014. When compared to Mexico's main peers, neonatal mortality per 1,000 live births in Belize amounted to 8.10, 11.5 in Guatemala, 9.10 in Honduras and 3.50 in USA in 2019.
