Historically, five years cumulative net migration in Thailand reached an all time high of 147,244 persons in 1985 and an all time low of 1,133 persons in 2021. When compared to Thailand's main peers, five years cumulative net migration in Cambodia amounted to -24,262 persons, -10,303 persons in Laos, 46,165 persons in Malaysia and -35,382 persons in Myanmar in 2021.
Thailand has been ranked 60th within the group of 176 countries we follow in terms of five years cumulative net migration, 35 places below the position seen 10 years ago.
