Non-performing loans as a share of bank assets rose 81.7% yoy to 5.43% in India in 3Q2016, according to the National Central Bank. This is 14.8% more than in the previous quarter.
Historically, non-performing loans as a share of bank assets in India reached an all time high of 5.43% in 3Q2016 and an all time low of 1.77% in 1Q2012.
