Number of branches rose 1.15% to 704 branches in Benin in 2020, according to the National Central Bank.

Historically, number of branches in Benin reached an all time high of 704 branches in 2020 and an all time low of 162 branches in 2007. When compared to Benin's main peers, number of branches in Burkina Faso amounted to 660 branches, 136 branches in Niger, 931 branches in Nigeria and 565 branches in Togo in 2020.
