Number of cigarettes consumed per day per capita of 15+ years old fell 2.95% to 3.31 per day in Denmark in 2016, according to the National Statistical Office.

Historically, number of cigarettes consumed per day per capita of 15+ years old in Denmark reached an all time high of 5.45 per day in 2004 and an all time low of 2.92 per day in 2014. When compared to Denmark's main peers, number of cigarettes consumed per day per capita of 15+ years old in Germany amounted to 2.94 per day, 1.92 per day in Netherlands, 1.10 per day in Norway and 1.81 per day in Sweden in 2016.
