Number of passenger cars rose 1.92% to 0.488 mil in Cyprus in 2015, according to the National Statistical Office.

Historically, number of passenger cars in Cyprus reached an all time high of 0.488 mil in 2015 and an all time low of 0.203 mil in 1993. When compared to Cyprus's main peers, number of passenger cars in Egypt amounted to 4.38 mil, 5.10 mil in Greece, 2.60 mil in Israel and 10.6 mil in Turkey in 2015.

Cyprus has been ranked 97th within the group of 137 countries we follow in terms of number of passenger cars, 12 places below the position seen 10 years ago.
