Number of passenger cars rose 5.55% to 0.846 mil in Costa Rica in 2015, according to the National Statistical Office.

Historically, number of passenger cars in Costa Rica reached an all time high of 0.846 mil in 2015 and an all time low of 0.476 mil in 2005. When compared to Costa Rica's main peers, number of passenger cars in Guatemala amounted to 0.697 mil, 0.040 mil in Honduras, 0.120 mil in Nicaragua and 0.536 mil in Panama in 2015.
