Number of passenger cars rose 7.69% to 0.700 mil in Qatar in 2015, according to the National Statistical Office.

Historically, number of passenger cars in Qatar reached an all time high of 0.700 mil in 2015 and an all time low of 0.246 mil in 2005. When compared to Qatar's main peers, number of passenger cars in Bahrain amounted to 0.500 mil, 12.7 mil in Iran, 4.40 mil in Saudi Arabia and 2.00 mil in United Arab Emirates in 2015.

Qatar has been ranked 84th within the group of 137 countries we follow in terms of number of passenger cars, 17 places above the position seen 10 years ago.
