PKO BP generated total banking revenues of PLN 6,159 mil in the third quarter of 2023, up 172% when compared to the same period of last year and 6.59% when compared to the previous quarter.
Historically, the bank’s revenues containing of interest, fee and other non-interest income reached an all time high of PLN 6,159 mil in 3Q2023 and an all time low of PLN 1,368 mil in 3Q2004. The average revenue in the last six quarters amounted to PLN 5,029 mil.
Net interest income represented 75.7% of total revenues, fee income contributed 19.1% and other non-interest income added further 5.21% to the overall revenue generation in 3Q2023.
Bank's total revenues accounted for 5.21% total assets in the third quarter of 2023, up from 2.06% a year earlier.
When compared to bank's main peers, Pekao generated total revenues of 4.87% of assets in 3Q2023 and ING Bank Slaski operated with 4.57% revenue margin.
