Historically, poultry meat production in Egypt reached an all time high of 2,638 kt in 2022 and an all time low of 74.4 kt in 1961. When compared to Egypt's main peers, poultry meat production in Israel amounted to 647 kt, 130 kt in Libya, 1,130 kt in Saudi Arabia and 85.5 kt in Sudan in 2022.
