Historically, price for a pack of 20 cigarettes in Sri Lanka reached an all time high of SKR 1,000 in 2016 and an all time low of SKR 320 in 2008. When compared to Sri Lanka's main peers, price for a pack of 20 cigarettes in India amounted to INR 158 , MYR 17.0 in Malaysia, MVR 47.0 in Maldives and MMK 850 in Myanmar in 2016.
