Price of cigarettes as a percentage of average U.S. price fell 0.804% to 30.8% in Serbia in 2016, according to the National Statistical Office.

Historically, price of cigarettes as a percentage of average U.S. price in Serbia reached an all time high of 31.3% in 2014 and an all time low of 16.1% in 2010. When compared to Serbia's main peers, price of cigarettes as a percentage of average U.S. price in Bosnia and Herzegovina amounted to 39.8%, 55.5% in Croatia, 63.6% in Hungary and 61.9% in Romania in 2016.
