Production of passenger cars fell 23.2% to 4.34 thousand in Ukraine in 2016, according to ACEA.

Historically, production of passenger cars in Ukraine reached an all time high of 401 thousand in 2008 and an all time low of 1.00 thousand in 1997. When compared to Ukraine's main peers, production of passenger cars in Poland amounted to 555 thousand, 359 thousand in Romania and 1,124 thousand in Russia in 2016.

Ukraine has been ranked 47th within the group of 49 countries we follow in terms of production of passenger cars, 26 places below the position seen 10 years ago.
