Proved reserves of crude oil rose 17.1% to 0.741 bil barrels in Peru in 2015, according to EIA.

Historically, proved reserves of crude oil in Peru reached an all time high of 0.953 bil barrels in 2005 and an all time low of 0.285 bil barrels in 2004. When compared to Peru's main peers, proved reserves of crude oil in Bolivia amounted to 0.210 bil barrels, 15.3 bil barrels in Brazil, 0.150 bil barrels in Chile and 2.45 bil barrels in Colombia in 2015.
