Historically, sales of electric cars in the World reached an all time high of 2,102 thousand in 2019 and an all time low of 0.336 thousand in 2006. When compared to World's main peers, sales of electric cars in China amounted to 1,060 thousand, 109 thousand in Germany, 38.9 thousand in Japan and 327 thousand in USA in 2019.
