Sberbank's capital adequacy ratio reached 14.7% at the end of fourth quarter of 2020, up from 14.2% when compared to the previous quarter. Historically, the bank’s capital ratio hit an all time high of 18.9% in 4Q2008 and an all time low of 12.0% in 2Q2018.

The Tier 1 ratio amounted to 14.3% at the end of fourth quarter of 2020, up from 13.4% compared to the same period of last year and up from 13.8% when compared to the the previous quarter.

Bank's loan to deposit ratio reached 92.3% at the end of 4Q2020, down from 94.5% when compared to the same period of last year. Some 10 years ago, loan to deposit ratio of the bank amounted to 82.6%.

When compared to bank's main peers, VTB Bank ended the fourth quarter of 2020 with a capital adequacy ratio at 11.8% and loans to deposits of 90.7%.
