Historically, total spice consumption in Vietnam reached an all time high of 154 kt in 2013 and an all time low of 25.4 kt in 1961. When compared to Vietnam's main peers, total spice consumption in Cambodia amounted to 10.0 kt, 486 kt in China, 15.0 kt in Laos and 485 kt in Thailand in 2020.
