Historically, tax revenue in El Salvador reached an all time high of SVC 4.86 bil in 2019 and an all time low of SVC 1.08 bil in 1998. When compared to El Salvador's main peers, tax revenue in Costa Rica amounted to CRC 4,480 bil, GTQ 59.7 bil in Guatemala, HNL 86.5 bil in Honduras and NIO 74.3 bil in Nicaragua in 2020.
