Historically, taxes on goods and services as a share of revenue in Lithuania reached an all time high of 45.4% in 2018 and an all time low of 31.2% in 1993. When compared to Lithuania's main peers, taxes on goods and services as a share of revenue in Belarus amounted to 29.2%, 35.2% in Estonia, 43.0% in Latvia and 23.7% in Russia in 2020.
