Unmanufactured tobacco production fell 48.3% to 2,012 tonnes in Uzbekistan in 2022, according to the National Statistical Office.

Historically, unmanufactured tobacco production in Uzbekistan reached an all time high of 33,800 tonnes in 1998 and an all time low of 2,012 tonnes in 2022. When compared to Uzbekistan's main peers, unmanufactured tobacco production in Kazakhstan amounted to 1,193 tonnes, 1,216 tonnes in Kyrgyzstan, 189 tonnes in Tajikistan and 3,308 tonnes in Turkmenistan in 2022.

Uzbekistan has been ranked 72nd within the group of 115 countries we follow in terms of unmanufactured tobacco production, 25 places below the position seen 10 years ago.
