Historically, total petroleum consumption in Lebanon reached an all time high of 151 '000 bpd in 2015 and an all time low of 33.0 '000 bpd in 1990. When compared to Lebanon's main peers, total petroleum consumption in Cyprus amounted to 45.0 '000 bpd, 201 '000 bpd in Israel, 135 '000 bpd in Jordan and 139 '000 bpd in Syria in 2015.
