On the other hand, bank's customer deposit growth amounted to -5.50% at the end of 2017, down from -3.18% when compared to the previous year. Historically, the bank’s deposit growth reached an all time high of 139% in 2007 and an all time low of -19.0% in 2011. In the last decade, the average annual loan growth amounted to 1.85%.
At the end of 2017, UniCredit Slovakia's loans accounted for 172% of total deposits and 92.6% of total assets.
