UnionBank's capital adequacy ratio reached 15.2% at the end of fourth quarter of 2018, up from when compared to the previous quarter. Historically, the bank’s capital ratio hit an all time high of 20.7% in 4Q2012 and an all time low of 12.9% in 4Q2008.

The Tier 1 ratio amounted to 12.7% at the end of fourth quarter of 2018, up from 12.1% compared to the same period of last year and up from when compared to the the previous quarter.

Bank's loan to deposit ratio reached 70.4% at the end of 4Q2018, up from 57.6% when compared to the same period of last year. Some 10 years ago, loan to deposit ratio of the bank amounted to 33.6%.
