Based on a comparison of 10 banks in Hungary in 2017, OTP Group was the largest bank by assets, followed by OTP Bank Hungary and K&H Bank.

OTP Group assets reached HUF 13,190,200 mil, up 17.7% when compared to the last year. Historically, the bank’s assets reached an all time high of HUF 13,190,200 mil in 2017 and an all time low of HUF 825,253 mil in 1993.

Comparing OTP Group with its closest peers, OTP Bank Hungary assets amounted to HUF 7,704,140 mil, K&H Bank operated with HUF 3,041,320 mil assets and UniCredit Bank Hungary had total assets of HUF 2,746,780 mil.

Total assets of the Hungarian banking sector amounted to CZK 6,724 bil in 2017, up 17.8% when compared to the last year.
