Based on a comparison of 11 banks in Poland in 2Q2017, PKO BP had the most employees, followed by Pekao and Santander Bank Polska.

PKO BP employed 28,825 persons in 2Q2017, down 1.18% when compared to the previous quarter and down 0.145% when compared to the same period of last year. Historically, the bank's workforce hit an all time high of 35,386 persons in 4Q2004 and an all time low of 27,387 in 4Q2013.

Average cost reached CZK 8,638 per month per employee, 2.85% more than a year ago. This figure was CZK 6,002 per month some 10 years ago.
