Based on a comparison of 88 countries in 2017, Nicaragua ranked the highest in provisions as a share of non-performing loans with 249% followed by South Korea and China. On the other end of the scale was Canada with 15.1%, Namibia with 17.3% and Estonia with 21.3%.
