Based on a comparison of 35 countries in 2017, France ranked the highest in alcohol consumption per capita with 11.7 litres followed by Czech Republic and Austria. On the other end of the scale was Turkey with 1.30 litres, Israel with 2.60 litres and Mexico with 4.40 litres.
