Based on a comparison of 26 countries in 2014, Israel ranked the highest in acute care occupancy as of available beds with 98.0% followed by Canada and Norway. On the other end of the scale was Netherlands with 52.8%, Mexico with 61.1% and Turkey with 63.0%.
